Interaction of applications can make support queries difficult as vendors take a "not mine" approach to problem solving.  Naber Networks has years of experience with a variety of standards that can keep vendors to industry standards. Knowledge of standards, RFCs, and practices using packet capture tools can dispel the cloud of who is responsible.

A logical approach can clarify issues. Beginning with clearly defining the fault domain removes some variables. Identification of the involved services and connections begins the process. Capture tools provide confirmation that communication is occurring, ruling out networking as a possible cause. Content of the messaging, query and response, then becomes the crux of the issue. Up to this point typically falls within the purview of the corporate support team. This is typically where the "not me" problem begins.
